This is the replacement charger for our Pedal Plane Navigation Light Kit, it is designed to allow any Smart Li-Po/Li-Ion battery pack, those that are equipped (internally) with a safety PCB that prevents over-charging and/or over-discharging. This charger is not compatible with, and should not be used with any battery pack that has a balance tap, as it will not be able to detect the state of the battery, and know when to terminate the charge mode. The battery we supply with our Pedal Plane Navigation Light Set is equipped with the necessary PCB, and is considred a "Smart" battery pack. If in doubt, give us a call and we can help you determine if your battery pack can be safely used with this charger.
